Automatic Delivery Automatic delivery is our most popular home heating oil delivery option. Our computerized degree-day system calculates your fuel usage. We will be at your home before the level of fuel in your tank falls to the ΒΌ mark. Automatic delivery includes an option for deliveries on scheduled dates either based on the calendar or scheduled by the customer. All fuel products are available to our customers using the automatic delivery program. Our promise for all automatic delivery customers is that they will have peace of mind knowing that we will keep their oil tanks filled. We have included some Frequently Asked Questions about automatic delivery for your information. Will Call Delivery Our customers call us when they need a delivery of fuel. This is a popular method of delivery for those customers with larger tank capacity than the common 275-gallon tank. Will-call deliveries are made during our normal office hours and we request a 48-hour notice before delivery and a minimum delivery of 150 gallons, or a fill up, whichever occurs first. Can you find the fill pipe for this house?Give up? Don't feel bad -- it's a trick question! You won't find the fill pipe in this picture because Mother Nature hid it. It's a big problem for us because if your fill pipe is covered with snow, leaves or other debris, it takes us longer to make a home oil delivery. In very cold weather, these little delays really add up. A few extra hours can make a big difference to other families who may be running low. (Families who are not on automatic delivery face the biggest risk of a run-out). Besides keeping the fill-pipe-area clear, it's helpful to have the fill pipe marked. Some fill pipes have already been flagged, but markers may have been lost during the off-season. | ||||||||||

Homeowners with fuel storage tanks in the basement can also help us by keeping the area trimmed near the fill pipes. All homeowners can help our drivers find your home by having your house number clearly visible on the home. Frequently, the numbers are missing or obscured by bushes, tree branches or other decorations. Having your house number visible will also help during an emergency response from the police, fire department or medical personnel. |
